COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

 

 

As we begin the task of reopening the tattoo shop, we have to carefully consider the safety of everyone including our staff & clients. To do our part in minimizing the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented changes in our daily procedures. We will be strictly following CDC Guidelines as well as direction from Governor Cuomos guidelines for reopening NY during phase 3, no exceptions. Please understand that if we do not follow these guidelines & someone in our shop (client or staff) becomes infected with COVID-19, we would need to close AGAIN for 2 weeks. We don’t want to close our doors again so please bear with us during this time and do your part to keep us & yourself safe. We will do our part! 

 

New guidelines for clients entering our shop:

 

  • BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - there will be NO walk in traffic at all, our doors will be locked at all times.

 

  • WAIT IN VEHICLE UNTIL WE ASK YOU TO COME TO THE DOOR.

 

  • DO NOT BRING ANYONE WITH YOU, NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

  • TATTOO CONSENT WAIVER FORM MUST BE SIGNED ELECTRONICALLY BEFORE YOU CAN COME IN FOR YOUR TATTOO

 

  • ANSWER COVID 19 QUESTIONS - call us when you arrive (585-435-4382) & we will review a COVID 19 questionnaire with you. If you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or have had any symptoms, your appointment will be rescheduled. If you tested positive for COVID-19 prior your appointment, you’ll need to provide proof that you have since tested negative.

 

  • MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES - if you can NOT wear one for medical reasons, please wait to schedule your appointment when masks are no longer necessary.

 

  • SANITIZE HANDS & TEMPERATURE CHECK BEFORE ENTERING THE SHOP - we will have a designated staff member at the door taking temperatures & providing hand sanitizer. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, we will reschedule your appointment; sorry no exceptions.

 

  • BRING ONLY ESSENTIAL ITEMS WITH YOU - phone, credit card, keys, NO FOOD OR DRINK. If you need food or drink, we can take a break and you can go outside.

 

New guidelines for our staff:

 

  • STAFF WILL WEAR A FACE MASK AT ALL TIMES.

 

  • STAFF WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURE TAKEN BEFORE ENTERING THE SHOP - staff member will go home if their temperature is 100.4 or higher & their appointments will be rescheduled.

 

  • STAFF WILL SANITIZE THEIR HANDS BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING.

 

  • STAFF WILL CLEAN THEIR STATIONS WITH MEDICAL GRADE CLEANING PRODUCTS AFTER EVERY CLIENT (this is not new, we’ve always done this).  

 

  • STAFF WILL DO THEIR BEST TO KEEP THEMSELVES & CLIENTS SAFE WHILE YOU’RE IN OUR SHOP.

 

 

New guidelines for setting up an appointment:

 

  • ALL APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE EITHER VIA EMAIL, PHONE OR ZOOM TELECONFERENCE CALL (please don’t come to the shop to set up an appointment, the doors are locked & not being opened unless you have a scheduled appointment).

 

  • DEPOSITS ARE STILL REQUIRED FOR APPOINTMENTS (we take credit cards over the phone or you can send your deposit via PayPal, $65 deposit or $105 for 1/2 sleeve or larger). You can find the link for PayPal on our website www.eyeofnewttattoo.com under the Contact Us tab. 

 

  • TATTOO CONSENT WAIVER FORM WILL NEED TO BE FILLED OUT & SIGNED ELECTRONICALLY BEFORE YOU’VE ARRIVED FOR YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
